Boats ARE NOT auctioned off in numerical order so plan accordingly.  We have many new items and things coming in daily.   Unfortunately all items may not get posted to the website prior to the auction day.

Built by the Boat Building Class of Saginaw Bay Community Sailing Association (SBCSA).  Several types of wood used, quick & easy to handle only 62lbs.....whereas fiberglass doubles weigh  95-110 lbs.    Can be used by one person seated in the center position  and has a 30 inch beam for greater stability.

MHA welcomes donations of boats & equipment in good working order.  Please e-mail inquiries along with recent photos to:

auction@maritimeheritagealliance.org

MHA will confirm receipt of inquiry
--will contact you for details

--Large boats should have a working trailer

--Registrations for boats & trailers are required at time of drop-off

--Title necessary for boats over 20 feet

(titles and backs of registrations should be signed without designating a new owner or price)

 


Items will be evaluated for use and fundraising salability to support:

----free community sails, 
----youth programs,
----MHA ship maintenance

 

 

After the annual June Boat Auction donors will receive a formal thank you letter for tax purposes.  Donors of boats sold for over $500 will be contacted by MHA for their social security number and will then be sent a copy of IRS form 1098-c along with their donation thank you paperwork.
