1927 Richardson Little Giant

Our "Little Giant", at 26 feet, is the only left-hand drive known to exist.
The Richardson Boat Company was founded in 1909 in North Tonawanda, NY, to build high quality pleasure boats for a fair price. Beautiful cedar hulls with white oak frames and mahogany cabins were produced in great numbers.

The Richardson Boat Company was famous for organizing "Sailaways" each spring where the owners of newly-built boats were encouraged to gather in North Tonawanda and join in a Richardson flotilla down the Erie Canal to New York City.

The Richardson Little Giant in the MHA collection is in need of a full restoration. When complete, she will be a fine addition to our fleet, representing the roaring 20's surge in pleasure boating on the Great Lakes, and will be a great place to spend an evening sunset or an afternoon putt-about.
